Megaton City—Police officers dealt with a particularly problematic perpetrator at Paul’s Market on Paradise Place.

The officers responded to a call about a shoplifter only to encounter a 6 ton elephant.

The pesky pachyderm pilfered 10 lbs of peanuts before making a run for it. The police pursued the elephant for 3 blocks before Officer Paxton Mouse, a recent transfer from Pleasantville, CA, jumped in front of the elephant.

Officer Mouse allegedly shot the elephant with a frightening face causing the massive mammal to freeze in terror.

The thieving animal was returned to the Megaton City Zoo where he was sent to his enclosure without supper. According to Zookeeper Becky Willows, the elephant, Eliot, could face up to 3 weeks grounding for his stunt.
