JAWS, or Justifying Anomalies With Science, is not what it appears to be. The world knows it as a group dedicated to researching everything about transbeings. In reality, it is a group of monster hunters. These monster hunters have gone by many names over the years, such as the Knights Templar, Witch Hunters, the Men in Black, and Ether Operations.
These monster hunters don’t hunt the traditional sense of “monster;” they hunt anything they see as an abomination. It doesn’t matter if you’re white, female, Christian, or human; if they think you are an abomination then they are coming for you. They believe anything outside the Plan, the will of the creator, is an abomination. By creator, I mean the person who created the story, movie, or game universe that they are in. I’m talking about fan fiction or fan art, non-canon events or characters.
Sometimes if a piece of fan fiction is popular enough, it can make its way into the story’s universe. JAWS works to eliminate that addition, whether the creator made it canon or not, in order to keep the story pure.
They are led by an enigmatic man-shark hybrid known only as Bruce, because it’s funny (get it, Jaws…Bruce). The hunters are identified by their purple and green color scheme, and advanced technology.
