Megaton City—The home of Edgar Mittens is in the crime spotlight tonight after an ancient spirit possessed Jake Christopher, reporter for Action Time News.
Christopher became possessed by an Ancient Roman spirit while covering the opening of a coffin recently discovered 42 feet beneath an abandoned church.
The coffin was found in a tomb made of iron and suspended over a pool of holy water. The coffin, made out of Mountain Ash, was held in place by silver chains. Runes made from ichor, or the blood of a god, were etched along the sides of the coffin.
Near the coffin were four jars surrounded by salt that contained the mystery man’s heart, appendix, brain, and lungs.
According to witnesses, the museum workers attending to the coffin ignored a warning that the coffin should never be open.
Once opened, the still unknown spirit possessed Christopher. He then attended Edgar Mittens’s birthday party where he tried to mind control the attendees and create a New Rome.
Fortunately, Megaton’s own Dogboy learned of the danger and was able to put a stop to the plot. Christopher was de-possessed and the guests were safe to eat cake.
As for the spirit, we can only hope that it has moved on.
