The upcoming game drops, Minecraft’s new way of providing new content and updates on a more “constant” stream, look amazing.
I’m still a little unsure about the animal variations, like the hot and cold chickens, but I am looking forward to the things that’ll add more life to the game, like the cactus flower. Plus, the new spawn egg images will make things sooooo much easier. I can’t even begin to tell you how annoying the current system is.
But of course, the thing I’m most excited for are the Vibrant Visuals and Happy Ghasts. I love that Mojang is making the visuals part of vanilla Minecraft so that everyone can enjoy them. The lighting and textures look amazing.
The Ghastlings look adorable! You almost don’t want them to grow into Happy Ghasts. I like the “imprinting” idea. You don’t have to spend hours taming them or leading them or transporting them via boats or mine carts. They love you right away. Although, I can see the Hermitcraft Hermits trying to steal people’s Ghastlings because it imprints on the first mob/player it sees.
Of course, you’ll want to grow your Ghastling because you can ride Happy Ghasts. Not only you, but three other players can join you. You can also stand on it so you can build in difficult places, or in places you never could before. Imagine traveling the Nether on your own Ghast. So much easier.
And the saddle goggles lowering when you’re riding is just chef’s kiss.
Looks like there’s going to be some great additions to Minecraft soon. I might have to play more often.
