I’m not much for grimdark, but it does sound like something that would be good for those who are. Also, I like Josh’s review format—organized, easy to understand and follow, and consistent. Plus, the reviews are to the point. Sometimes a little too short, and I feel like I want to hear more about why he has a certain opinion, but I would rather have a short review that is interesting and thought out then a long one that goes on for the sake of watch time. If you’ve said all you want to in six minutes then you’ve said everything you needed to.

Access granted: Hyper

Jane Rocket and her family are immigrants from another planet. Dean, their benefactor, saw the potential in Jane’s ability to slow down time. 

As soon as the starship docked, Dean put her to work as the criminal “gopher” known as Hyper. As she did his “odd jobs,” she lost her sense of hope, feeling like she would never escape his grasp; so when a stranger from the future offered her the chance at freedom, she took it.

The traveler and Hyper journeyed into the past to kill Dean before he amassed his power. Dogboy was able to hitch a ride back and was able to talk Hyper out of the murder. However, the traveler was not swayed. He attempted to kill Dean only to be killed himself. As a time traveler, his death erased him from existence. 

The traveler did reappear sometime later as a wraith, a lost soul trapped in Limbo. He tried to get his revenge on Hyper, but Dogboy was able to save her.

Currently, Jane Rocket works for Red Rover Restaurant as a delivery person. Although, she has been spotted committing “side hustles.”
