A long time ago, the Seed Sphere, or Gate of Eden, created Mars. However, before it could finish the job, one of the Cosmic Terrors damaged it and sent it drifting off towards Earth. A piece of the Sphere crashed into Mars where it created the Oasis.
Many centuries later, Mars became the dumping ground for the worst criminals in the solar system. There was no death sentence at the time. One day, a prisoner escaped the Martian complex. He stumbled upon the Oasis and drank from the water. He gained the powers of creation which seem magical. He became the first genie, but he wasn’t alone for long. He handed out powers to any who would follow him. Soon, the genies revolted.
The authorities stopped the revolution by trapping the genies in lamps. These lamps were meant to rehabilitate the genies. They would do community service, through granting their “master’s” wishes. They would results were mixed. Some changed their ways while others did not. One who didn’t change was the prisoner who found the Oasis. He trick one of his masters into freeing him. He then took over the complex.
Over the next few centuries, Mars was ruled by the genies, specifically the first genie now known as the Master Genie or King Genie.

Eventually, King Genie’s thirst for power brought him to another attempt to rule the Earth. However, this time someone didn’t want to go along with his plans. The “traitor” caught and brought before the king. The king decided to remove all of the traitor’s memories and banish him from Mars via lamp. Any record of the traitor was erased. The traitor was renamed Wishmaker.
Wishmaker would become a recurring foe for Dogboy and his friends, usually attacking Danny Smith because he tricked Wishmaker.
Recently, King Genie’s plot was revealed and stopped. Since then the genie community has virtually disappeared with only those already on Earth remaining.

The teen seemed stunned at first but continued. “The vid also showed him eating some leftover chicken nuggets from the mini fridge. I checked mine. The nuggets were gone.”
Jason coughed and shifted uncomfortably as Chip continued to stare at him.
“Uh,” said Jason, wanting the silence to end, “do you think he’s breaking in my house and recording videos? I know it sounds—”
Charlie returned. “OK, Bro, looks like we can—” Charlie stopped short when he saw Chip and Jason.
Chip turned to Charlie. “Get my bus pass; I’ve got a mystery to solve.”
