Dear Mr. Rover:
While you have been a loyal asset to the company for, what is it now…eons, we regret to inform you, once again, that we will not be publishing your book series Dogboy Chronicles.
We understand how this can be difficult to understand. We can also understand if you feel any ill will towards us, given your history with the previous board of directors. We assure you we are taking steps to fix all the damage our corrupt predecessors caused, including the locating and removal of Plot Devices from the various realities they infected. Thanks to your efforts, the Omniverse is in balance again.
However, the fact still remains that you are a Real Boy, a person from the Real World. We have already seen how you can manipulate reality, even subconsciously. Your actions have allowed many of our “fictional characters” to realize that their world is not as it seems. Normally, these actions would result in your personality being rebooted, but we’ve seen the results of previous attempts at that. Also, you have saved the Omniverse and BLT on multiple occasions.
We still believe that allowing your stories any access to BLT and the Omniverse would result in terrible consequences. Like you, they are too unstable—quantumally speaking. But, we will allow you to continue to serve the Omniverse as our weapon, I mean, best Zapper.
You are a great asset to the company as you are.
Signed,
The Board of Directors
