-Great twist

-The description of the battle with the travelers and their machines sends chills down your spine

-Confused by Jack’s background at first which completely changes at the end. I don’t know if the monoliths changed memories, but it seemed like everyone knew Jack one way then another at the end.

-I enjoyed the bittersweet ending

-The characters weren’t the most developed ones ever but were pretty good for a short story. The other characters seemed a little anonymous but Hank seemed fairly developed.

-The writing sounded like it was Hank speaking/narrating the whole time

-I liked how the mood changes from grungy, small town to epic space battle. The transition is smooth.
