• Freaky idea
  • Not the most terrifying existential horror but still horrific
  • You want to know why the boss is able to command/intimidate everyone—like who is he; what did he do; what does he know about these people
  • You want to know what happens to the driver after touching the monolith
  • Took me some time getting use to the narrator/driver’s name for people. The boss is old so when he says “old man” you think it’s the boss then he says “my boss.” I thought they were the same person for a time. Then some of the dialogue doesn’t have identifiers so I got confused on who was speaking.
  • The boss’s apathy to everything except science was a little unsettling
  • I like how everything is mysterious, like where they’re at; how come the military is letting this old man investigate; what happens to everyone after the story
  • Nice title. Took me a moment to get it.
