- One of the better Guillermo del Toro movies
- I like how the creature’s appearance went from monstrous to human-like to monster-like to human-like
- Great idea to have Victor and the creature tell their sides of the story
If you like futuristic sci fi fantasy stories with 1990s vibes then check out the Joe Rover books.
- Maybe not the best retelling/reimagining of Mary Shelley’s classic tale but one of the better ones
- Was a little too long
- Make-up work and costume design was great, even the costumes for the other characters was great
- Settings were very gothic and foreboding
