Notes:
Lorenzo Russo loved The Tales of Yonder cartoon show when he was growing up. The show was set during World War I and was about Mike Masters who became Yonder, a flying squirrel pilot. Lorenzo became a paratrooper because of Yonder’s example. He later joined Division Z.
One day, he found out that his squad, Z-16, was corrupt; they were behind recent scams. Z-16 was tasked with investigating the scams when they were the masterminds behind them. Lorenzo reported them to the commanding officer. The commanding officer was in on it. Deciding that having Lorenzo killed or disappeared would bring too many questions, they used hypnotism to erase his memory of the event. It backfired and now whenever Lorenzo hears a bell, he believes himself to be Yonder going so far as being able to use the character’s powers.
