Superman Unlimited #3 sees the return of the Toyman. I like how the Toyman looks like the one from Superman; The Animated Series; but enough of him for now, the main attraction is Krypto.

The POV of this issue was pretty cool. Superman is speaking to the audience, but the images are more from Krypto’s perspective, kinda. When they are at the dinner table, you only see Clark, Lois, and Jon’s legs. The panels are also more active, more energetic—like a dog.

I love how even the bad guy’s are like, “I’m not shooting a dog.”

Superman and Krypto fight giant robot

The story is very sweet and fun, like Jon’s attempt to walk the dog. It’s more like the dog walks him. Ah, I remember those days with my dog.

The scenes with Jon were a little confusing because he looked and sounded closer to his younger self, like around 15 maybe 16. His costume also looked closer to his 10-year-old costume. He acted younger too: whining about having to walk the dog, being pulled by Krypto instead of having control. Did he get re-aged again?

The ending with Toyman and Superman was unexpected. The very ending with Krypto and Superman in the Fortress of Solitude made it even better.
