Busy last few weeks as usual. I wrote a review of the first episode of Lanterns, and I also wrote a short note on what I thought about the Coyote vs Acme movie.
I also managed to work some on the “Here Be Giants” and “Necrotechnomicon” videos. I pretty much only have to edit and format the videos.
I read Superman: War of the Worlds #1. It’s about the War of the Worlds Martians invading the Earth and Superman having to stop them. You’d think that would be a pretty easy victory for the Man of Steel, but this is 1938 Superman. The Superman that could only leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Though, I do love this image. Such a classic. As in a parody of the first Superman cover.

I also read Detective Comics Annual 2026 #1. In this comic, Lobo arrives on Earth to capture Batman. Batman’s crime…murdering an alien king. Of course, we know Batman is innocent. Now he has team up with Lobo and prove it.
That being said, can you imagine a more epic image than this: Batman riding Lobo’s motorcycle through space? Come on!

And to finish off this update, a snippet from a short story I’m working on: “Long Live the Tween.” It’s a working title.
“OK,” said the fake Danny, “I’m not your Danny. I’m from another timeline. I come from a time where an evil tyrant has enslaved the world.”
“Evil tyrant is a little redundant,” said Sally.
“Now is not the time for semantics.”
“I’m a journalist. There’s always a time for semantics.”
Isn’t she the best?
She narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips. “And how would any Danny know what ‘semantics’ meant?”
That’s it for now.
Until the next wormhole…thanks for reading!
